The licence checker, label maker and label checker are free to use. They are based on the published FSSAI and Legal Metrology rules, but they are guidance and not legal, regulatory or nutritional advice. Rules change, and how they apply depends on your exact product and business.

You are responsible for your label

You are responsible for checking every label before you print or sell it, including its nutrition values, allergens, dates and claims. Nutrition values from this site are estimates from standard food tables, not lab results.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, penalty, recall or claim arising from their use.

Fair use

Do not misuse the site, try to break it, or copy it in bulk. Labels you make are yours to use for your own products.

Not affiliated with FSSAI

This site is independent and is not run by or connected with FSSAI or any government body. Apply for licences only on the official portal, foscos.fssai.gov.in.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
